Bubble machine before the square dance. I don't mind the blur as it captures the action and excitement of our youngest.
We're playing with bubbles in central park. I was trying to figure out a way to fill the frame with bubbles - and I think I have a way now.
This week's word, encounter, describes a surprise or unexpected meeting. I knew i was going to use bubbles to create this photo, but I didn't think it would be possible to catch one. Because of this, actually catching a bubble was like an unexpected meeting.
In this picture, my brother caught a bubble in his hands just like he is meeting it. To create this picture, I used a quick shutter speed in order to capture the bubbles before they popped and a f/stop of about f/5 because the place where this photo was taken is very dark. This picture had a few contour lines (the edges of the bathtub) and there's also a warm feel to it because of the lighting. Also, the bubble causes the light to reflect off of it.
Justi making bubbles. I KNOW it's blurry, but I like it none-the-less :D She's so cute, and then there's all those bubbles...it...yeah.
