Bubbles in my lemonade for a meeting with my manager whilst we were in London. This looked so refreshing, but was sadly so disappointing. Whilst we were there many people were having afternoon tea and the theatre of it was amazing - hot cocktails poured out of glass teacups, candy floss and cake pops. Felt quite jealous sat there with my disappointing lemonade!
Bubble's is a regular visitor to our street. I'm always happy to see, and hear, her.
I very nearly bought a 2CV in 1987/8.

Bubble skirt made out of cotton layer under and tulle outer, Following Aida's tutorial for Project Run and Play. Worked great.
I made a couple changes to her tutorial:
1. made it into a skirt, not a dress. Fits my petite 20 month old daughter.
2. When connecting the two layers on the bottom, I encased the raw edges in some blue bias binding and then sewed that down to the under-layer, so I was left with a nice trim at the bottom.
Batwing top made out of some mystery knit fabric bought at the thrift store. I took one of her oensies, traced that onto the fabric and added the bat-wings and it worked great. It fits her, and it looks great with pants also. The fabric is veeeeeeery stretchy, so my top-stitching stretched the hem a little bit.
Also I made her a little infinity scarf out of the lining fabric. It is the cutest little scarf.
After reading several web sites about bubbles for kids and a trip to Wal-Mart, I am better equipped to continue experimenting.
Today, the formula is Super Miracle Bubbles, water and Glycerin. The secret ingredient is the Glycerin which extends bubble life. It increases surface tension to the point that the mixture did not climb over the rim of the cup and wet the outside.
Light was from an LED flashlight with a Deep Purple Gel.
In the "petting zoo" there was a bubble that kids could climb under the table, and get into. Unfortunately it was dark on the small crawl to the bubble, that Madeline didn't want to go. Finally made her do it, and she was pleasantly surprised and happy once there.
This, dear Flickr Friends, is the bubble bath (with a few extra bubbles thrown in) that I took this A.M. instead of going to work!!! Yeah for Retirement!!!
Today I spent the day at the park with a few three year olds. These boys were competing to see who could pop the most bubbles, It was really fun to photograph. I love spending time with kids... :)
Startingn the month off by buyinng pink. After a cursory glance around the house I realize that I don't really have a lot of pink. Not really my color. I do love Double Bubble bubble gum though.
Day three. Pink
This photo was taken during a dive at Boynton Beach on 10/06/2008 and is of a pair of photos I took during one of the safety stops. The camera is aimed at the surface capturing bubbles as I exhale. In this shot a few of the bubbles remain on the underwater housing and result in an interesting macro shot.
Bubble grows due to flux of Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide gas through the walls of the cellulose from the surrounding liquid.

Snow was barking annoyingly today so Fritz put him in a bubble. Think twice about letting your little beasties take magic classes.
