While walking down a street in Berlin, I was suddenly confronted with this extraordinary scene. Obviously some talent was required!

Given a smudged treatment.

Bubble and squeak is a British dish made from cooked potatoes and cabbage, mixed together and fried.

This is the final result about Bubbles.

For a long time, I was thinking about a composition from several images with a relation.

I wish you like it.

Shot taken for Saturday Self Challenge 26/04/2025 -- Bubbles .

You will have to do with just the two bubbles for the challenge , there was a spirit bubble on the tripod but is always hidden once a camera is mounted .

Anyway , here is a neat little level that fits into the flash hotshoe on top of the camera . With it in this configuration you can check that the camera is not tilting to one side or the other and that you are taking a shot with a level view . Of course if it is wonky horizons you are worried about then most cameras will have a built in indicator available to activate on the rear screen or in the viewfinder !!

Worth it one way or another , nothing so annoying as to see an image that is tilted when it should be straight ( Dutch Angles excepted ) !!

A good friend from a photo site back in the day who was a brilliant photographer always said about how wonky horizons were bad photography which could be easily fixed with post processing being one of the quickest and easiest fixes going - something I have never forgotten D.J. !!

Well a bubble challenge sorted and for a tune to go with it , I wonder how many of you will remember this ----

Nivea sells a shampoo that has bubbles suspended in it. very convenient! I tried quite a few things for this subject, this picture has oil (ascending below the bubble in the middle), sugars, glitter, lipstick and a couple of different shampoos. It was fun.

In bubbles of beauty, you can see

The clouds above, the spreading tree

They float and they multiple

As they gaze up to the sky

That rules the air, in every direction

Looking down on their bubbling reflection

Pink and blue bubbles!

air rising to the surface.

This is the second image of bubble net feeding, this time very close to the shoreline

As we were watching from the boat, a ring of bubbles appeared on the surface of the water. Within seconds a humpback surged upward bursting though the surface of the water surrounded by the ring of bubbles. As seen in this image the mouth is wide opening a frenzied attempt to catch the fish trapped by the ''net of bubbles". One humpback or several can be involved in the bubble net feeding
