She was a bottle of bubble bath (WAY over priced, only bought for the bottle). She's going to be a night light! I'm going to make her into one! You just wait and see ...

I need to adjust the fragrance a little- the strawberry drowns out the banana but they still smell yum

Bathing in the kitchen sink, while Mom attempts to do the dishes!!

My first go at making my own bubblebath was fairly disastrous (didn't bubble at all, too oily and it didn't smell right), but today's experiments went much better. I started off making a couple of body scrubs and then I made a new test batch of bubblebath.

The first body scrub was Vanilla & Ylang Ylang: 1/2 cup turbinado sugar, 1/4 cup almond oil, 1/4 tsp Vitamin E, many drops of vanilla essence diluted in jojoba (I didn't count!) and about 4 drops of ylang ylang oil. I mixed all the wet ingredients together & then I added the sugar. It made for a delicious scrub. The only thing I decided to change was to not use pure turbinado sugar next time. I'd chosen it because the crystals looked so big and scrubby, but they turned out to be a bit too harsh for my taste.

The second body scrub is pictured here: Rose Honey. For this one I used: 1/3 cup white sugar, 1/3 cup turbinado sugar, 1/8 cup almond oil, 1/8 cup honey, 1/8 cup Weleda rose body oil, and 1/4 tsp Vitamin E. I haven't tried it yet, but I have high hopes for it.

I also had another go at bubblebath. This time I mixed up: 1/2 cup liquid castille soap, 1 oz glycerin, 1 oz almond oil, 1/4 tsp Vitamin E, 10 drops of vanilla oil diluted by jojoba and 5 drops of ylang ylang. I'm really hoping that this time it will bubble, be moisturizing and smell nice. I'd love to be able to make my own bubblebath!

Update: Gah, my bubblebath still didn't work! It made a nice bath oil, but no bubbles.

I burst out laughing every time I see this picture.

This is part of my Friday/Weekend Shoots Series. It was done with Capture Software hooked up to my Canon a40 - and set to snap a picture every 5 seconds. So I basically just tried to be a model for a minute or two. There are a few I left out due to naughty bits showing. Or slightly too suggestive. My FAVORITE I had to leave out. It was of my back side - it looked great but then I realized that my...shall we say "sack" was in full view. And that was, well...just NOT "good naked".

anyway.. hope you have as much fun looking as I had doing.

This is Jinjin! A one of a kind polymer clay troll...

Trolls come in many shapes and sizes. No one description can fit them all.

Everywhere trolls are a constant reminder to the farmer to be careful with his tools and not forget them in the field when going home in the evening or they would be destroyed or simply be stolen by the trolls.

And here it is Jinjin, that is been caught having a bath in my garden, cheeky one...

Jinjin is made of polymer clay, the head and hand are sculpted on top of an aluminium and foil armature, the barrel is filled with a piece of cork and foil covered with glue, acrylic paint, glitter and resin.

Isn't he cute :)

Today I re-located to: compost bins and pile, a huge pot, flower and vegetable beds -- 9 bags of 2-year old organic horse poo compost. Each bag contained 75 litres of compost. They were very heavy. Then I took a long perfectly heated bubble bath.

This is the balcony of our Sareeraya Suite Jacuzzi (70sq. meters). It has a nice scenery over the ocean and a private jacuzzi on the balcony with a daybed. Imagine listening to the sounds of the surroundings, drinking some sparkling and enjoying the amazing views from your Ylang Ylang bubblebath.

The gift I made for our late Ukrainian Christmas celebration. :)

My boyfriend and I discovered this ducky in our 1st apartment. When we decided to move to another place, we took him with us. The ducky has been with us for 3 years.
