Day 20. I still can't believe I have done something twenty straight days without quitting. That's amazing for me. I felt as if I had too many hair and face shots, so I am breaking things up a bit. Bubble bath after work. Gotta love it.

This just struck me as funny... I was preparing to wash some dishes and was wiping down the counter. These egg cups sit out all the time and had gotten dusty, so I put them in the soapy water and continued with the counter. When I looked back at the pan of soapy water, the yellow egg cup just looked so blissful amidst all those bubbles (I'm a little worried about the pink one though...)

My eldest daughter Makayla posing with her Christmas present for daddy!

Just a snapshot that worked out extremely well in my opinion. Maybe it was the fluorescent lamp that worked as single light source here that gives this one that dreamy look.

(This is out of cam again. I am becoming kinda lazy concerning the post-processing, but of course I just pretend that the shots don't need any post-processing any more due to my developed divine photographic skills. Still modest in 2010...)

A relaxing bubble bath with candles and a good book is the perfect Saturday night activity

This photo is an altered and edited one of the Brunswick, MO water tower. Follow my photostream to see the original photo. The water tower looked like a giant golf ball ready to be hit into the bright blue yonder. I've changed the water tower to be the girl's head and the trees in the foreground to be the bubble bath.

This was the second part of my shoot with val yesterday. I have to say this is my fav shoot i have ever done with her. It was nice to see her step alittle out of her comfort level to produce some nice images. I think she did an amazing job and just comes out gorgeous. I actually had to delete a ton of pictures just because it was so hard for her to take a bad picture. My bathroom at my new place isn't to big and it was very hard to try and light the place. There was no way i was going to be able to get an umbrella in the bath tub with her so i just thought i would bounce the light and try to do that. Lucky my walls are a nice white color and defused the light very well. I couldn't of asked for these to come out any better. I wish i could of used my 50mm lens but it was to long for a situation like this. Even though there wasn't many poses she could do in this situation she gave me a ton to work with. The only thing that didn't work out was the rubber duckies that we bought. I guess they weren't the floating kind and just sank. This girl is flat out amazing. I wish i could see her more often.
