I have been practicing with my new dslr.... I love all of the colors that nail polish comes in. Nail polish and good grooming never goes out of style! lol
I had other plans for today's photo, but by the time I got home, I had a headache and was feeling pretty tired. The only thing that sounded good was a bubble bath. I decided to kill two birds with one stone. My camera is hanging off of the adjacent shower with a gorillapod. I was nervous about this, but the whole setup was pretty stable. Love the gorillapod. I just got it a couple weeks ago and it's pretty handy.
In a fit of boredom total inspiration, I thought it would be fun to shake up some shampoo in a travel bottle and take some macros of the bubbles. When that didn't work, I tried some bubble bath in a glass bottle. And when that didn't work, I gave up and turned the bottle upside down over the bubble bath jug to empty it. As it emptied, these cool bubble shapes started happening, and they made me happy.

Should have brought my snowshoes or at least my gaiters to plough through all this foam on Wreck Beach. The swell was too dangerous to venture further, even though this was low tide. (early spring tides were quite high)
Don't worry it's bubble bath I haven't done myself harm just to get a photo to put on flickr..... or have I?
