Decided that bubbles seem very calm. Except when attempting to photograph them.
Day 044 - #Photo365 - Calmness
Opened in 1964 Castle House was the main department store of Brightside & Carbrook Co-operative. It cost £925,000 to build and was designed by G.S. Hay. The store closed in 2006 and remains empty. It is now listed by English Heritage, containing many original features, especially the stunning staircase and an original Board Room.

When your bubble bursts....
This image was captured some weeks ago and got lost on my hard drive, I was going through some today and rediscovered it. A moment in time rarely if ever seen. :)

I took the kids to see the Peachfest parade this morning. On of the (freaky, creepy) clowns was blowing bubbles and I managed to catch this one in flight.
Went for a walk in the park with my daughter on her off day...though she is in her mid 20s but we share a common interest in kiddies stuff.

This is my tenth year covering this fun festival filled with color and pageantry and beautiful people. Each year some of the regulars return and sometimes fresh new faces appear to join the renaissance family. Some are vendors or employees, and some customers dress up to fit in with the renaissance festival fun and its 16th century way of life. One big happy family of a few thousand escaping the dull-drums of their daily life for a few hours. This year's crop of new faces was lovely. Hope you enjoy the images. I try to capture their joy. Always fun, festive and very colorful. Thanks very much for looking. Hazaaa!!
