While a guest, Bubba shamed us by involving himself in an altercation with one of his cousins. Actually, Bubba is fairly timid but one cousin had been stalking him all week
and I think Bubba finally stood up for himself.
We're babysitting a 10wk old chihuahua whilst my friend is on holiday. Her and Bubba absolutely love each other, he's so gentle with her considering she hangs off his cheeks with her needle teeth and theres a 26kg weight difference!!
My Beautiful Boy, I can’t believe it’s already a year since you went to the Rainbow Bridge,
You came unexpected into our lives when we rescued your Mum , we had no idea you were there , just waiting, until she was safe and warm before you appeared that day, the first born of 4 .
I knew I wanted to keep you .
Your Bother and Sister found new homes but I held you back , you were mine ,
I never knew then the joy you would bring, so devoted you were to me you were my shadow.
You made me complete, you , your Mum and of course your best Buddy Charlie Brown .
I treasure the times I had with you and knew that one day all 3 of you would be just memories locked in my mind forever, that’s now and you are all gone .
Just 9 days after we lost your Mum so you passed too, never far from her side you were all together at last.
You have each other again, to play with, to run, and to find others that came before you,
I miss you so much my Beautiful Boy , my Beautiful Bubba, My Jack …

Bubba was loitering around on the carpet while I was taking pictures of Akira.
This picture says a thousand words....
The cats were overdue for a couple of photos, as usual, Bubba was available to pose, though not pleased to have his nap disturbed.
Bubba has no formal school certificate or degree but he strongly believes in self-education . One day he suddenly discovers that certain sections in his education have been neglected...
A sparrow has started to build a nest above his spot where he likes to sleep...He chatters at it and keeps a eye on that bird all day....(He can sleep anywhere. even on that hard window sill...}
Probably my most interesting Big Bubba shot... on the inside of the end of a grainer. He definitely caught a ride in this car almost 22 years ago as of this date.

For days Luke kept saying that he wanted me to take a picture of him and his friend Bubba Love. When I asked him who Bubba Love was, he said that I would meet him when we went to dinner at Murrell's Inlet.
The last thing that I expected was for Bubba to be a statue!(though, he is a real person)
Nonetheless, I took the photo because he asked me to.....and the results were much more interesting (at least to me) than the photo of him in his fireman's gear. below.......(which he also begged me to take).

we purchased the 50mm 1.8 lens the other day and gave it a try at the dog park that we bring our pup to. Definitely not what i'm used to but I think with a lot more practice i'll love it a lot more. For now, here's Bubba giving us that sad puppy dog look.
Barbie Meets Bubba…
Barbie's parents had no idea why Barbie suddenly became so obsessed with horses. She had stopped shopping and hanging out with her friends so she could hang out at the stables as much as possible. Perhaps it had something to do with Farmer John's eldest son, Ken, also known as Bubba by his friends. Barbie's parents would never know (or at least she hoped they wouldn't).

Bubba feels better than he did last week, but his left eye is still cloudy and bothersome. We took him out to graze, but the sunshine was too bright, so we didn't stay outside for long, as he was squinting. His vet diagnosed him with recurring uvitis. We have to keep him on meds and hope that it doesn't get any worse, but only better.
Today, I played at the beach and then got a bath. So glad the sun is shining again. It was a whole week we didn't see sun.
