hustle and bustle from dawn until dusk
Heightening pace as nighttime commences,
activity proceeds briskly and brusk
Vendors display a myriad of goods
from cheapest trinkets to elegant fare
On crowded corners in packed neighborhoods,
storefront windows cast a painterly glare
Food sold from carts where customers line up
Some ragged ensemble plucking a tune
While sipping tea from a circular cup-
fireworks blossom by pulsating moon
With another bite of plated stir-fry
poised between chopstix in rambling Shanghai

A work by Brusk, a versatile artist from Lyon whose real name is Cédric Kozluk.
The “Mur Oberkampf” is located in the party district of Rue Oberkampf and displays a new street art work by different artists twice a month, meaning that the previous image is painted over every 14 days. The Oberkampf district owes this lively highlight to the initiative of the Le M.U.R. association, which is committed to promoting urban art. All styles are represented: graffiti, street art, in-situ installations. The public in the neighbourhood can watch the artistic performance and interact with the artists.

Streetart im Prozess in der Rue Oberkampf (11e)
Eine Arbeit von Brusk, einem aus Lyon stammenden vielseitigen Künstler, der eigentlich Cédric Kozluk heißt.
Die 'Mur Oberkampf' befindet sich im Partyviertel der Rue Oberkampf und zeigt zweimal im Monat ein neues Streetart-Kunstwerk von verschiedenen Künstlern, d.h. alle 14 Tage wird das vorherige Bild übermalt. Das Oberkampfviertel hat dieses lebendige Highlight der Initiative des Vereins Le M.U.R. zu verdanken, der sich für die Förderung der urbanen Kunst engagiert. Alle Stile sind vertreten: Graffiti, Street Art, In-situ-Installationen. Das Publikum im Viertel kann bei der Durchführung der künstlerischen Performance zuschauen und sich mit den Künstlern austauschen.

Depuis le 27 octobre, les passants peuvent admirer, dans le 20e arrondissement de Paris, une fresque du street-artiste Brusk, réalisée en soutien à Handicap International dans son combat pour protéger les civils des bombardements pendant les conflits.
Un travailleur humanitaire de Handicap International qui retient symboliquement des bombes tombant du ciel, empêchant ainsi qu’elles ne tombent sur les passants : tel est le tableau de la nouvelle fresque du street-artiste Brusk

De lichtkern, gemaakt in kunsthal BRUSK, is aangekomen in het oudste deel van de Machina Lumina: het historische Gruuthusepaleis. Dit centrale deel activeert al eeuwen het licht. Hier, tussen oude beelden en verhalen van het museum, stijgt de gebalde lichtkern op naar het hoogste punt van de Machina. Klaar om geactiveerd te worden.

GX Gallery is delighted to welcome, for their debut London exhibition, the Paris-based graffiti crew, DaMentalVaporz. BomK, ISO, KAN BRUSK, JAW and LIME originally met in 1999 while writing, tagging, bombing and painting immense urban frescos, in the streets of Paris. The DMV members will be creating another masterpiece live on the night of the private view. This show is a rare opportunity to see the streets of Paris in a London Gallery.

À partir de 2008, les parapets grillagés du pont des Arts deviennent le support de nombreux « cadenas d'amour » accrochés par des couples. Cette pratique, s'étend ensuite à la passerelle Léopold-Sédar-Senghor, au pont de l'Archevêché ainsi qu'à la passerelle Simone-de-Beauvoir.
Devant la polémique sur la dégradation du patrimoine engendrée par la présence de ces tonnes de cadenas qui, d'après certains, alourdiraient le pont et pourraient provoquer son effondrement, et sur leur aspect jugé particulièrement inesthétique par d'autres, la mairie de Paris décide d'y mettre fin en septembre 2014. Ainsi, les grillages sont définitivement retirés le 1er juin 2015 et sont d'abord remplacés par une exposition temporaire d'œuvres de street art de Jace, eL Seed, Pantonio et Brusk, puis par des panneaux en verre à partir de l'automne 2015.
