A typical South African tradition where people name their beach houses. I am always amazed and shocked by what they come up with. Mostly in Afrikaans and using loads of puns.

U.S. Highway 36

In early pioneer days, legend tells us that this small settlement was destroyed by prairie fires and/or Indians on three different occasions. After rebuilding the third time the settles remarked, "This is the Last Chance this place has. " Thus the name "Last Chance", which is still a welcome oasis on the Colorado Plains.

Manning Coles - Drink to Yesterday

Bantam Books 76, 1947

Cover Artist: Hoffman

Manning Coles is the pseudonym of two British writers, Adelaide Frances Oke Manning and Cyril Henry Coles, who wrote many spy thrillers from the early 1940s through the early 1960s.

Below is the older version. The cover had to be changed because some of the celebrities took offence. I'm lucky, having kept the old LP for more than 40 years.
