A Black Browed Albatross escorting us along a particularly lively section of ocean between the Falklands and the Straits of Magellan.
This White-browed Scrubwren popped up just to the right of me, really close too, while I was following a Brown Gerygone. Zero crop on this one.

This golden-browed chlorophonia is found from southern Costa Rica to Panama. The species is typically uncommon and somewhat local, being found in the canopy of highland forests above 2,500ft elevation. This was a rare sighting due to how scarce these birds are. This again is a male bird because of how bright his colors are. You might notice a trend that a lot of these photos are of males because they are brighter and easier to spot. This is because the are more likely to attract females out in the open. With how rare this bird is, you may never see them in the lowlands. They tend to stick to pre-montane and mountainous eco-systems.
