I was lucky enough to get a free ticket to see Matt Hornell and The Diamond Minds open up for the Elliott Brood show at The Rock House last night. Elliott Brood were quite loud and I was standing right next to the speakers so my ears are still ringing, it was a good show though.

This was taken at Acadia National Park. I did some playing around in Photoshop with the sky. First time using Photoshop on an image, let me know what you think.

The clouds gathering as day vanishes, far too early.

I'm annoyed, by the way; that black spot in the upper right seems to be a stubborn mark on my lens. Or, God forbid - a particle that has got inside the camera somehow :( I'm paranoid that my baby is ruined...

Does anyone have any advice??

Ketchikan, Alaska:_09_11_04

Quiraing, on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. As is usually the case in Scotland,it was a cold, very windy and foggy day. I'm not sure it would look like Scotland if it were sunny! I really liked this scene with the two lakes and the peak in the distance. I didn't have a tripod, and I really had to push to get enough light on the scene.

The view on my way home from work last week. I love the light this time of year.
