My divorce became final last week.

I'm sad and grieving anew this week.

This year has been SO FUCKING HARD.

I'm so tired. So angry. So ... ?

I don't even know.

Even the elephant is jumping up and down it's so good

A shot taken in Amsterdam, a fascinating city with one of the greatest vaireties of cultures in the world. It is a very seedy city good for anyone who enjoys weed, sex and music. I was there for the architecture. With all my street photos i have tried to keep them as raw and as un-edited as possible.

The beginning of my bike theme that i started due to the fact there are vast numbers of bikes in amsterdam, 3 for every person in the city.

This Shag is brooding two chicks, there is also an unhatched egg under her too!

You can see one of the chicks to the left. When the sun shines these birds appear to have a green sheen to their feathers. They also have beady green eyes!

After taking the previous two shots I ventured up above the waterfall and went in search of further water action. There was another waterfall tucked away a little upstream from here but I found it difficult to get a decent vantage point without getting my feet completed submerged in the river. There wasn't a great deal of light to be had and there were other shots I wanted to capture so I made do with what I had here before moving on. And this brooding sky told me there may be further rain on the way.

clouds that promise a lot of rain but thankfully just a few sprinkles giving way to a beautiful partly sunny afternoon out in Hardin.

Sugarloaf Rock bathed in the first sunlight of the day.

He looks pensive but really he's just sulking because I wouldn't buy him an orange soda.

Well stocked with eggs, larvae, sealed brood, pollen and capped honey.

While the kids got on hands and knees to continue worming their way through the dust, Jessica and I hung back in relative comfort and took pictures of ourselves.
