Spent a couple of days covering some of the main locations on the Cumbrian Coast - a line that is new to me, even after 40 years in this game, and I wasn't disappointed. 1. Tahlvin was born without the innate ability of the rest of his family to use magic.

2. However, thanks to the ingenuity of Hale, his inventor brother, the ink in Tahlvin's tattoos includes nanobots that allow him to overcome his handicap and manipulate magical energy.

3. His soulmate is Brandee, a human woman from an alternate reality.

4. As a mercenary for a company run by his family, he was once charged with assassinating Brandee.

5. He's an unrepetant smartass.

6. He was conceived in Alaska at the very end of the Klondike Gold Rush.

7. Tahlvin doesn't like his daughter's boyfriend Edmond. At. All. (However, he does give the guy credit for having the sense to fall in love with a wonderful woman.)

8. His biological father and him have a very strained relationship but, although Tahlvin secretly wishes he and his dad were close, he's too prideful to take the first step in mending it.

9. He's an adrenaline junky.

10. His greatest fear is that his family will be taken from him (as was previous wife, before Brandee, and their unborn child).

The morning sun mixes with some relatively low, dark clouds and makes for quite the brooding scene.

While hunting for milkyway and feeling frustrated due to gathering of the clouds, some of the folks in the team wanted to stop and snap the storm instead. And we were presented with some great performance.
