"Gideon's Nightstand" series

Bronica ETRS + Zenzanon MC 75mm f2.8 + Efke R50 + Rodinal 1:100 @ 1 hour stand

Taken at Aberdeen beach, in north-east Scotland. The tree trunk must have floated in and has embedded itself in the sand, looking like it belongs there.

FP4+ film, developed in Ilfosol 3 (1+14), 7' 30". Negative scanned using Epson V550 Photo scanner.

Despite the (deliberate) bokeh, you can see some of the offshore wind turbines. These are enormous (hub height above sea level is 120 metres) and the 11-turbine farm generates up to 93.2 MW. More info at wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Offshore_Wind_Deployment_C...
