Take a broken girl, treat her like a famous princess, give her the best seats in the house. Buy her coffee and cigarettes for the coming down, books and bathroom things for the days ahead. Tell her something true when all she's known are lies. Tell her God loves her. Tell her about forgiveness, the possibility of freedom, tell her she was made to dance in white dresses. All these things are true.
sooc. it was on my graduation party, crying haha.
BLD is one of the most expensive puppies in the history of BARK. She showed up at PACC with a severely broken right rear leg. Instead of getting it fixed, her owners surrendered thinking she would be destroyed.
Not so fast, inhumane humans! BLD will be available for adoption once she gets the hardware removed from her healing leg.
The text says:
"These fragments of old glass formerly filled the upper tier of the East window.
A German land-mine with parachute attached was dropped in a field between the church and the river at 9:20 in the evening of 16th September 1940. The explosion shattered the windows, displaced roof tiles and shook down plaster throughout the church. All adjacent houses suffered in the same way, but no one was hurt.
This inscription has been placed here in thankfulness to GOD for our merciful deliverance and in memory of William Grenville Boyd, Vicar 1938-1941, who collected and began arranging the old glass."

I love this cup a lot sadly I had broken it. It was the second one, again I need to look for the offer from Nescafe again.
I don't know why, but I found that broken window of a wall near a castle something interesting to me. Maybe it's about secrets again...
The room is dark and empty,
Dust fills the air,
Where once there was joy and light...
Now cobwebs gather here
Where there was once such life
Memories lie cold and dead
On the hard floor of passing time
Once your voice rang in this room
Talking the time away....
Yet, I can no longer hear your words
Now resides mute silence here
Crying out day and night

One morning this week, my favorite coffee mug accidental flipped thru my hands. It felt like forever when I tried to grab the mug on the way down to the floor. I could not capture the mug, it crashed hard on the floor with a familiar sound. My best coffee friend for several years, was now just broken pieces.

A broken beauty, waiting for restoration.....or demolition depends on how you look at it. I have always loved this old home on the north end of Broadway Street in Raymond, Alberta. It came up for sale just recently and is sold for "lot value" only! If I was in the position to take on such a project I would be all over that sh*t. Unfortunately, the house sold weeks after the listing went up and a demolition sale was held, stripping the home of its treasures.
Sadly and I can't emphasis that enough. The town of Raymond actually encourages the demolition of "older homes” with grant money, in favor of new development!! WTH?! A historic Mormon Settlement such as Raymond letting their history be replaced.
I took a tour of the place myself and the house needs a sh*t-ton of work such as a new basement, windows, roof and the list goes on...but for what you pay for; the large lot and house you could easily have a completely renovated "character home" with new foundation and only spend over $150-200,000. Not to mention the house would most likely sell with that large of lot for about $300,000 after renovations etc.
No word on when or if it will be demolished. :(
There is no need to spend large amounts of money on a playground, a few industrial scrap objects and children will make their own forms of play. There might be the odd bruise and a few broken arms on the solid items, but that is the part of growing up.
