Some stuff I left behind today. These could've been good if they were all there.
From left to right...
Hand (Hard?) brewing company? It has an address on it, but that's where the bottle is broken.
That bluish green bottle might be really old. Look at the thickness of the glass.
Center bottle is from the Berlin Bottling Company of Berlin NJ.
Last two are medicine bottles. The one on the end just had no markings.
These are likely to be re-buried soon.

When I broke my leg last summer, I went to stay with my parents for a while. My morning routine was wake up, curse the world, wait for my mom to bring me some breakfast so I could take a painkiller, hobble out into the world.
This was granola with yogurt and fresh fruit.
In the back there you can see my bruised ankle. I had the boot off briefly here because my foot had fallen asleep during the night.
I've never had this happen before. I was riding around on my lawn mower when one of the blades broke. The short piece landed in the yard and the long piece stayed in place. With nothing to balance it, that shook the daylights out of the mower and me. I got it switched off before any of the mower's parts or my parts got vibrated loose.

Overview of Broken Hill.
Mining has occurred throughout the entire life of Broken Hill since its founding in 1883. Australia's largest mining concern BHP Billiton has it's origins here with the initials BHP standing for "Broken Hill Proprietary". The mining industry has declined in recent years however it still plays an important part in the story of the town with many tourist attractions associated with mining. The other main reason to visit Broken Hill is for the artists who have called the city home. There are many galleries around the city that are worth visiting.
Miner's Memorial. Located on the top of the mullock heap on the edge of the CBD is the Line of Lode Miner's Memorial and Visitors Centre.
My favorite modern sculpture is Barnett Newman's Broken Obelisk. For a guy who thought modern art or at least painting had to be about nothing other than itself, this work breaks those parameters and in my personal view has a symbolic representational power, nothing sentimental or moralizing about it, to stand for the tragedy and promise of the modern world.

This was taken along a trail at PegHorn Nature Park and Trail in St. Cloud, FL. There was a small cherub statue underneath a tree that caught my eye as I walked past it, so I decided to snap a few shots of it. Moving to the back of the statue, I saw that the statue's arm was actually broken but still hanging on.
