I caught the sun shining through one of the windows in the lantern on the top floor of the little castle at Bolsover Castle and liked the starburst effect so I positioned myself to make it as large and as striking as possible.

There were two lights shining onto a disco ball which then reflected shapes onto the path. The surrounding trees were lit up with blue and purple lights which created some lovely tones and shadows. Here you can see the disco ball and purple trees and, to the right of the photo, the Christmas tree lights at the start of the trail.

Lifting into the air and displaying those beautiful feathers that Mallards are known for! The warm afternoon sun highlighted its colors and patterns.
You can see in the background the snow-covered ground where the mallards often gather and rest.
Many bird lovers faithfully come throughout the day with corn feed and other food to help sustain them through the cold months as they overwinter here in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

My 15 year old kitten loves sunshine. She's the hardest pet to photograph but I loved her in this bright, direct sunlight. It was one of the few times she left her heated mat so I grabbed my camera (not my phone) and took a picture of her.
We are ending 2021 with three healthy cats. The last couple of months have been pretty rough but switching my cats over to a hypoallergenic food and putting Jimmy and Mack on Apoquel seems to have cured everyone! YAY! Mack has completed his Apoquel course and is back to living the good life being able to go outside whenever he wants. Jimmy is now on a decreased dose for a couple more weeks and he's doing great!

A new Year and it starts so great. A new fragrance is in town. Commercial is tjus tabout to get ready for this new product of 2023! Even in little world the people care about how they smell when they go out to meet others :)

This sheep farm is close to the road that leads from Bolsena to Bagnoregio.
Diese Schafsfarm liegt nahe an der Straße die von Bolsena nach nach Bagnoregio führt.
Here is another POV to a scene i already shot ! Sometimes the tiny little people have to use special places and special light to be able to get there daily buisness done. She seems kinda borred, sitting there and waiting to get done - i hope you are not borred viewing the image :)

+++ Breaking News +++ little world is in Queer Street and needs cash to expand and keep growing. Actual bitcoin is omnipresent and so they decided to start their own buisness in mining some bitcoins! Hope they can dig enough to keep living in their small world :)

Ich habe mir wirklich einmal Zeit genommen, die Stadt zu erkunden. Nicht nur einen Stadtteil, sondern wirklich ein paar Orte, an denen ich sonst weniger bin. Es sind dort sonst zu viele Leute unterwegs. So hat die momentane Situation auch etwas vorteilhaftes an sich. Selbst das Wetter war für Hamburger Verhältnisse traumhaft. Es hat sich etwas gezogen, insgesamt war ich gut neun Stunden unterwegs. Allerdings mit Pausen, Fahrerei, etc. Aber ich habe jetzt ein paar Eindrücke gewonnen, die mir vorher fehlten. Jetzt sehe ich meine Geburtsstadt mit noch ganz anderen Augen.
