What do you guys think of my first Vietnam build? I personally think it turned out pretty well. I was able to pick up some more brickmania 1.5 wide treads so I will be able to make some more medium tank sized vehicles. For brickfair Alabama, I will be arriving on Thursday night so I will see you guys there!

A project I did as a gift for my 5 yr old son.

Built from Brickmania instructions with several part substitutions based on colour availability.

(Back story) Out of all my military projects my son loves my 3 Brickmania M3A1 Stuarts the most. Too many times he has said that he'd love a tank for his Green Army Men so I decided to build him one.

Something I took a while ago and forgot to post. Bofors AA gun. Awesome kit as always from Brickmania!

Dark Bluish Grey Stug III's built from Brickmania Instructions with minor customizing.

Infantry figures made up of out of production Brickarms SS Major and custom soldiers with Charlie Co. decals.

This is the first batch of custom German infantry that I have done and will have a total of 40 once I finish the rest.

SS Major armed with Brickarms C96 'Broomhandle' Mauser

Infantry armed with BrickArms MP40 & M24 "Potato Masher

Stug's armed with Brickarms Mg 42's.

I made a small addition to Brickmania's excellent little M1841 kit: I added a removable muzzle piece.

The one in the photo is injected in rubber (hence the dull surface appearance). It is made using a steel core rod that is removed after injecting to give a hollow piece that can attach to any stud.

I'll most likely revisit this piece, and see what I can do to get it scaled just right.

While at Brickmania in Antwerp today, I stopped by Brickizmo's stand and picked up a few things. One was a neat little German figure in a pickelhaube helmet, who I decided would make a nice Lancer minifig.

Got this on the Labor Day sale, impressed with the shipment, and also the netted helmet, very realistic indeed. I've wanted to add this to my collection for some time, and now I have. Overall, satisfied customer like always :)

Recently acquired Brickmanias new Frogskin camo figure... Congrats Lando it's a MASTAPIECE!!! You've improved so much on your previous figure and put a lot of effort into your creations and it's clear to see. Very happy with my new fig, and I strongly recommend it to any Pacific War enthusiasts out there. The figure officially comes with a custom netted helmet and a detailed card, but I didn't include them in the pic.

Inspired by the works of both Brickmania & Mechanized brick.

Minifig weapons and tools by Brickarms & Brickforge.

Dark Bluish Grey Stug III's built from Brickmania Instructions with minor customizing.

Fenders and MG 42 gun shield added to original design.

Brickarms MG 42's used on both models.

A pair of M4 Sherman tanks advance along the battered Rue du Val-de-Saire in the Tourlaville district of Cherbourg on the 26th of June, 1944.

This was built for and displayed at Brickfair New England a couple of weeks ago. Later in the summer you can also see it in person at Brickfair Virginia. M4 tank design by Brickmania!

Back with a new setup and more funds so new scenes to come shortly!

Thanks!

First post! I originally posted this on Reddit with French crewmen, but I updated it, and am really just calling it a beutepanzer because it’s all grey. I might camouflage it in the future (and keep the tracks from sagging). CC very welcome!

Very brief history of German captured H39s: H39s were used by the Germans as training tanks in "low priority" regions like the Balkans and, mistakenly, Normandy. In fact, these vehicles were some of the only armor the Allies faced in Normandy until June 12, when the 2nd Panzer Division arrived from Calais. Units of French beutepanzers in Normandy, like Panzer Abt. 206 and Panzer-Erzatz Abt. 100, were often comprised of Hotchkisses, Renaults, SOMUAs, and Char B1s, and were stationed on the Cotentin Peninsula. These units were destroyed relatively easily.

Here is the interview about this model: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vODpGEbpiPA&t=71s

Had some serious trouble with this kit when I first built it... had to make some modifications to fix. For one, the landing gear was very thin and fragile, and I found that the original black technic pipes that were placed over the flex-tube didn't connect to each other, making the tube extra bendy and unstable. I remedied that by placing lego canister bricks on the landing gear, they connect well and don't allow it to bend as much. Then, I removed the tiny flimsy flex tubes that connect the landing gear to the body, and replaced them with slightly longer, non-flexible lego "axe-handles" to keep it from bending so easily. But the damn thing still kept tipping backwards due to its long tail! So, I placed a metal weight in the cockpit (beside the pilot) that balanced the thing out. I still can't figure out how to get the helicopter doors to stay shut, however. All in all, I love the kit, and I feel I've really made it my own through modding it, but I think it should have been more balanced and sturdy to begin with. I hope BM does some edits before they release it again!!

As you can see, he has given me 2 MG42s and 1 Luger! Along with a few black M1 Garands!

Oh, and a BA WWII Colonel.

Finally.. at long last I present to you the fruits of nearly a year and a half of blood, sweat, and tears.. my Volkswagen Beetle Type 1. This small car has so much history behind it in real life, as well as in my career as a builder in this amazing community.

-

I cannot stress how proud I am to finally lay this project to rest as this project had many issues in its production from stability, lack of parts, and proper proportion especially when it comes to the front hood.

-

I also would like to draw your attention to the background set ups which are all 100% my own custom builds as from the studio like to the table.

-

For 2022 I will be making instructions for purchase of the VW as many of you have requested it! This is my first step into the new year and I plan to make it my best year yet! Thank you to all those who gave wonderful improvement opinions and stuck with me on this painfully repetitive journey haha!

Work-in-progress on a Churchill. A few versions to choose from. Suggestions? It should be accurate, not a WOT mix, unless of course there was an historic version.

Hello folks!

As school has started, i am back into the swing of things and will be posting much more frequently! I also plan to make an MRU or citizen brick order so if you guys have any opinions on which one would be better i would love to hear them!!

Thanks!

This is a common type of loader used to help load missiles under the wings of bombers and fighter jets.

I really wanted functionality with this one and quite pleased with how it turned out.

3D digital print on the pants is Lando's design.

This is a tribute to the women of Britain in World War Two.

When production of tanks, planes, boats and munitions were needed, the women of Britain were called on to come into the factories and build the war machines. Without them success would not have been possible.

This scene is set in a converted railway station, using the track as an assembly line for the Churchill tanks (Thea tanks are Brickmania tanks, in not a tank builder and I don't think a Churchill could be any better built than this).

Women are the primary workers, however we have an older man who has just turned up after work to help with turret placement. We also have a shorter man who is the factory site manager, deemed too short and to old to fight he was utilized elsewhere. Accompanying him is Brickmania's Churchill tank commander providing the final inspection.

There are a few world war 2 propaganda posters dotted around the build that I printed myself that were period posters aimed at recruiting women.

Other features include a policeman patrolling the streets and a few street cats making themselves at home in the factory.

This is my first WW2 endeavor, inspired by black and white images of factory lines and diecast/plastic model dioramas I had seen. Thanks for looking.

US Navy SEALS use customized zodiac's for top secret and dangerous missions. They must get in and out in a hurry and need all the covering fire they can get.

A mini-gun was added here as per Lando's and Dan's request but would likely be on a different boat, a bit larger too and might have an additional 3 mini-guns.
