100% Brickmania designed M3 Grant. Built from Instructions Club instructions and Bricklink purchased parts.
Back story (this model was built about 14 months ago):
I wanted to own either the M3 Grant (British) or the M3 Lee (American) but neither were available for sale.
At the time I had just parted out several sets in my Bricklink store for sale and had a decent amount of Tan parts. Combined with the fact that I needed a break from Old Dark Grey projects I went with this.
Hand-injected by me at the BrickArms studio.
A limited number will soon be available from Brickmania as part of a special product.
bad pic is bad
i'm not good at taking pics :/
does anyone have tips so i can make better pics?
so this is my collection
Dark Bluish Grey version of Brickmania's Tiger I Ausf. E. (designed in 2003).
One of the first German tanks that I built from Brickmania Instructions way back in 2007 from purchased instructions via disk.
Decided to take some photos and upload them as I'm stuck in builders limbo (tons of ordered parts to complete various American armour projects but nothing has arrived yet).
Very little customization was done to this great design. In January 2011 when I start working on my German armour again this tank will be revisited and updated slightly now that lots of great new Dark Bluish Grey parts are available (turret, side skirts, wheels).
Brickmania's 26 foot Lego display of D-day +1 gets some new BrickArms bangalore's added by Will.

Now with SIX BrickArms 4-shell 40mm Bofors Clips (and M60 of course)!
Vehicle is available NOW at Brickmania. As always, Brickmania kits are a limited run, so get it while you can!
Dan wanted Bofors shells, and Dan got Bofors shells. Loving the Duster redesign, and the shell racks are elegantly simple.
I actually redesigned the 3D model of the shells to allow them to be injection overmolded more efficiently. The yield is a bout 80%, which is way above the 50% I was getting before the redesign. I use ground-up LEGO pearl gold bricks (Shhhh!) so the color match is 100%. The shell warheads are olive.
No World War Brick Anaheim 2018????? Let Brickmania know what you think about that…………...

I dusted off the original MG34 mold, which has a cutout in the receiver where the removable snail drum snaps in/on.
The brown ModCom MG34 stock is overmolded onto the gun for a permanent weld, and is not removable.
Figure (not included) is wearing the BrickArms WWB Anaheim "German Recruit" torso design, with the German Gunner vest, and dark gray stahlhelm. He likes long walks in the park, wine and schnitzel in the evenings, and hates the smell of Cordite in the morning.
The first version of my Mp40 was designed over 10 years ago, and it needed some updating! This version has an extended stock, and more detailing.
A design with collapsed stock has already been cut and injected, and is awaiting photos.
Hand-injected by me in small quantities, and soon to be available from BrickArms Reseller Brickmania!
So I made a little upgrade on my Brickmania StuG, a long barrel version instead of a short.
and now its the right crew sitting in it ;)

Anyway, loving the combos I can work with now after picking up some more accessories post brickfair. I think I'm partial towards the "bulky" figure style recently. Color combos just look so aesthetic. Not to mention the fact that the French 'horizon blue' uniforms contrast so well with other brighter colors - peep flowers.
just because ik someone will ask about the part out. -

5 Old Dark Grey M4A1 (75mm) Shermans. Part of my 3rd Armored Division (these tanks represent the famous 32nd Armored Regiment).
Design credit largely goes to Dan Siskind (Brickmania) whose Jumbo Sherman model was the very beginning and inspiration of this project and Dan's skills have been a large influence for many other projects that I've worked on (you are the best Mr. Siskind).
Key notes about the tanks:
-over 3000 old dark grey pieces including some rare and non-production elements (note the 20 old dark grey 24 Tooth Technic gears)
-over 1100 small Technic links were used
-Vehicle insignia and names are from Archer Fine Transfers
-3rd Armored Division shoulder patch located on the crewman were designed by Milan
-assorted Brickarms monopods and small arms (trophies of war) were incorporated into both the design and stowage.
Opinions, C&C, thoughts more than welcome.
Funny thing, people passing by, suddenly they spot the snake, stand still, take a step back and take a closer look
:P
Besides checking out other creations it was quite entertaining to check out the visitors
In the whole temple lay-out the anaconda seemed to be one of the more interesting parts
(more pictures of this fearsome beast at mocpages)
Specifically the (Brickmania) minicon.
Dan came back with 2 trophies for it but I didn't even take pics before it left. I'm curious to know how it turned out.
Thank you in advance!

Dan Siskind now owns full-scale military models too! This is the official Brickmania 2 1/2 ton truck. Photo taken on 8 Oct 2011 outside Brickmania HQ.
Just a little setup I did for Brickmania's USS North Carolina that I got for my Birthday! The pictures don't do it very much justice!
Old Dark Grey Universal Carrier Mk. II. The first of several vehicles that will be part of my small WW II Canadian force.
100% free built (no instructions) with heavy design credit to Dan Siskind (Brickmania) for the overall size, dimensions and general exterior. Additional part credit use to Captain Eugene for his ingenious idea of using lego ski's as fenders.
Additional notes about this project:
Built this as a test/ prototype to work out detail ideas with the intentions of building 3 total. Each carrier will come with a custom built Bren machine gun along with additional appropriate armament (Vickers MG, etc) along with various stowage configurations. Dark Bley Brickarms U-Clips are temporary and will be replaced with Gunmetal clips.
Better quality pictures will be posted once final version (with stowage and permanent weapons) is completed.

Support: the team players of the battlefield, the support class serves his team by laying down suppressive fire and placing ammo in locations for his teammates.
Assault: although often overlooked, the cannon fodder of the army is often the decisive factor in a battle. Wearing only the essentials of war - clothes, a gun, and a helmet, his sole purpose is to kill the opposition.
Tanker - The eyes, ears, and brain of the metal behemoths that belch fire and death on the muddied terrain, the tanker aides his allies and decimates his foe via high explosive ordinance.
I hope you guys like these figures and their descriptions! I recently purchased Battlefield 1, and although I have only played it a little, it certainly is inspirational for builds. I recently acquired an Ally and an Axis pack, so I will now be able to somewhat build World War 1 with historically accurate weapons!
Merry Christmas! I know I didn't post a Christmas post, but this will serve as one! I hope you all had a good time!
It's not often you see the interior detail on one of Dans tanks unless you own one so I thought it would be cool to post some
'Martinez, where the hell is our backup?'
'I don't know. Just hold tight and remember your god-damn training.'
A pair of M4 Sherman tanks advance along the battered Rue du Val-de-Saire in the Tourlaville district of Cherbourg on the 26th of June, 1944.
This was built for and displayed at Brickfair New England a couple of weeks ago. Later in the summer you can also see it in person at Brickfair Virginia. M4 tank design by Brickmania!
Alright Gentlemen, you know what we are here for. Recover that ACS module, and if you have to, shoot anyone who stands in our way.
Co. C of the 1st Marine Amphibious Corps Tank Battalion was one of the first USMC companies to attempt a beach landing with the M4A2, without the later developed wader kits. Most of the company including the Chicago got stuck in underwater craters and had their electrical systems shorted out. What this photo presupposes is maybe it didn't?
