Another timelapse looking over Lake Ontario from my back yard as the storm rolls out. I love the "popcorn clouds!" (the ones that start out as a little puff of vapour then grow into giant fluff balls... they're near the end of the video) The music is a remix I did of "A Drowning" by How to Destroy Angels. (I stretched out the end so the music ended less abruptly as it is only part of the song)

summer is most definitely over.
these were the last two flowers I gave my wife, a few days apart, as things finally dissolved into salt water. they've been sitting in the window sill for a bit too long, and I thought it was finally time to throw them out. I walked by the scanner on my way out the door and couldn't stop myself from recording this moment.
quite liberating, honestly.

Last week, along the Waterfront Park shoreline in Bath, an expansive field of thinning and fractured ice sheets shattered the sounds akin to breaking china dishes, wind-driven pass stranded layered ice structures that had been pushed up on shore, the latter with the exception of a few icicles, remained substantially dry in the still freezing air, giving the expiring winter a few more breaths.
I'm sorry, but it's over...

Did a photo session at the beach today... a wee bit chilly, but loads of fun. Could have spent the afternoon photographing the little girl. She was so cute and had killer eyes.. :-) After they left, hubby and I went back to see if I could find something for today's picture and we came across a picnic table with this graffiti all over it and of course when I saw the hearts I had to take it. One more heart picture for my collection.

Marsh Creek Lake during the end of February. The ice was breaking up making for really cool looking shots.
this couple was disagreeing about something......I wondered what their story was.......their disagreement didn't seem serious, but they eventually went separate ways....perhaps they had just met for lunch, and both had to be back at work....maybe they were nothing more than colleagues.......perhaps they had just grown a bit tired of each other.......though there was no kiss, they did give me the impression they would be seeing each other again.....
