I spent a while walking around and taking photos of the parts of the Breakers under renovation. The rotunda was already visibly gutted.

The St. Nicholas Coal Breaker in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania was constructed in 1930 as the world's largest coal breaker and was in use for 31 years. It's purpose was to remove impurities from coal and break it into different useable sizes.

The tipple and breaker at Eckley Mining Village. This was where the movie "The Molly Maguires" was filmed in 1970. Most of the breaker is gone and was only built for the movie
