From some shots I took at a friend's breakdancing competition. Squeezed off nearly 1000 pictures in 3h!? The standard of the dancers was very high and it was a great spectacle.

This was also the first time I have used off camera flash in anger. I taped my sb80 to the speakers (back and right in this shot) and bounced it off the ceiling. I found that it was still necessary to crank up to 800 iso in order to give me the necessary recycle time and freeze the action.

Maybe get a fish eye for next time?

Escuela Bernardo O’Higgins se recreó con Ajedrez, Tenis, Fútbol, Breakdance y Skate by Departamento de Deportes y Recreación Viña del Mar

El establecimiento perteneciente a la Corporación Municipal de Viña del Mar vivió una entretenida jornada de Clínicas Deportivas y Recreos Entretenidos 2014.

Una entretenida jornada de actividad física vivió el pasado miércoles 30 de abril la Escuela Bernardo O’Higgins de Viña del Mar gracias a la visita de la Casa del Deporte, de la Ilustre Municipalidad de Viña del Mar, con su ya clásico programa Clínicas Deportivas y Recreos Entretenidos 2014.

Los alumnos del establecimiento perteneciente a la Corporación Municipal de Viña del Mar se recrearon gracias a las Clínicas Deportivas de tenis, a cargo del profesor Casa del Deporte Camilo Cárdenas, y la tenista profesional radicada en Bélgica, Ivania Martinich; además, se contó con la instrucción de fútbol de los ex jugadores profesional Gabriel “Coca” Mendoza, Claudio “Tanque” Álvarez, y Luis Lufi.

La visita, también incluyó Ajedrez con el GM Iván Morovic, demostraciones de breakdance y street dance, a cargo de “Superocho Crew”; y de Skate, con el Club Deportivo Recreativo y Cultural Skateboard Viña.
