(revised from "Vegetarian cooking for everyone")
Ingredients:
2 pounds potato, peeled and cut into 1-2 inch pieces
3 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup bread crumbs
2 large garlic cloves
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 cup boiling water
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 375F, lightly oil a dish that is large enough to hold the potatoes in a single layer. Add the potatoes, season them with salt and pepper.
2. cut garlic into very small pieces. On a medium heat skillet, heat the garlic in olive oil with bread crumbs. once the oil is absorbed by bread crumbs, turn off the stove. Add boiling water to the skillet and mix it up. Pour the mixture over the potatoes. IMPORTANT: make sure the mixture cover the potato. If the mixture is too thick, some potato can't get the flavor, and will be too dry at the end.
3. bake for 45 minutes. Garnish with parsley.

stuffed with, breadcrumbs, celery, shallots, blueberries, chicken stock, peanuts. Covered in butter, dusted with cinnamon, pepper,salt, cumin, coriander, cloves, nutmeg, turmeric. On a bed of potatoes garlic and more shallots, oil. YUM!

This delightful bug was constantly on the move - except when he was feasting on a breadcrumb - so it was quite a challenge to capture his cuteness on camera…
Length approx. 1.5 cm / 0.6 inches. No ID yet. Is he related to a cotton stainer bug (Pyrrhocoridae)?
I use this breadcrumb brand and add a lot of garlic power and just enough olive oil to moisten the crumbs. Lemon or cayenne also work well if those are your style.
Well, the Chiefs lost to Denver, so it's time for some comfort/consolation food. Grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup.
I add Italian style breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese to the soup, to pretend like I'm richer than I am.
To the breadcrumbs, add seasoning and a lightly beaten egg, then knead in the (cooled) buttery onion and herb mix.
