I went out to Brazos Bend State Park on a beautiful day to get some pictures. This was one of them

Alligators were free to roam, and though there were warnings, they really were not much interested in people. They sunned on the riverside, swam in the lakes, rested on the sides of the paths.

Went to Brazosbend and walked a few miles, ran into this guy toward the end of the trail. It was either pass him or walk miles back the other way! As you can see, I took my chances!

I was really struck by these two dead trees on a beautiful spring day at Brazos Bend State Park
