I cringe to see one of the Park volunteers or staff approaching in their noisy little vehicle when I'm set up by a bird, but these are the people who make the Park nice for all of us. I was taking pictures on Sunday morning; This guy was working. I can't complain.

a walk in nature that was taken last Saturday on a quick trip to the country. Though the skies were gray and the temps cool, it was a welcome respite to listen to ducks, birds and leaves crunching while taking a stroll. Best view large

Spider liles grow in the swamps in Brazos Bend State Park. They are truly spectacular wildflowers and it is worth wet boots to photograph them
