I cringe to see one of the Park volunteers or staff approaching in their noisy little vehicle when I'm set up by a bird, but these are the people who make the Park nice for all of us. I was taking pictures on Sunday morning; This guy was working. I can't complain.

Spider liles grow in the swamps in Brazos Bend State Park. They are truly spectacular wildflowers and it is worth wet boots to photograph them
