Chapada Diamantina National Park is located in the State of Bahia and is often referred to as "Brazil's Lost World". The literal translation of "diamond plateau" comes from the discovery of diamond veins in the early 19th century. It is a great location with table top mountains, reverse waterfalls, crystal clear blue lagoons where one can swim, huge caves with stalagtities and stalagmites, underground rivers and lots of hiking trials. There are only 2 flights per week from Salvador to Lencois (the closest large town in the area) and during the winter cloud cover may prevent a landing. In lieu of flying, it is a 7 hr bus trip from Salvador.

Num sei porque essa foto ta parecendo tremida, mas eu aproximei bem muito e fiz uns "testes" e ela não ta tremida.. É só impressão mesmo xD
