Because everyone loves bracket fungus! It usually grows on the side of a tree. The fact that the tree was cut down doesn't seem to bother this little bugger.
The supplied bracket didn't provide the required clearance to install the overflow tank, so after trying to picture the end result, felt it was better to flatten the bracket.
