The grand maple tree that we've used as a picnic tree for years is dying, and this bracket fungus has taken up residnece on it.

First walk in a woods when fungus season has properly started..... and quite a few to be seen.

we found this bracket on the front lawn it was not there 3 weeks ago when we mowed, and have no idea where it came from?
