Because everyone loves bracket fungus! It usually grows on the side of a tree. The fact that the tree was cut down doesn't seem to bother this little bugger.

This is the remains of a bracket that once held the bathroom stall's leg down. This is right near the water, so I can only assume the salt air is responsible.

Scan of bracket for mounting to timing cover. Multiple sets of holes from experimenting with mounting angle. The two with stripped anodizing are the ones that work for me. The sensor holder mounts to this using bolts.

I guess its having a final fling - doesn't look like there's much left of that tree for it to eat.
