soft box i made in about 10 minutes. i cut a hole in a shoebox, for my speedlight to fit in, and covered the open end with an old t-shirt. it works on a light stand, and even fits on your camera while attached to the hot shoe. hopefully ill try it out tomorrow
This box canyon on top of Mt Revelstoke in Revelstoek, BC, will keep snow and ice all year round. The mountain receives 40 to 60 feet of snow each year. This photo was taken in late July and it show still plenty of snow left in here.

Yes, I drank virtually all of it myself. Why I kept the, sometimes very nice, boxes I don't kow. I wasn't consciously collecting them. But when I decided to get rid of a lot of stuff that clutter the rooms in our house I knew these needed to go.
One men's junk is another men's richess though and that's why I placed them on 'Marktplaats' (national Dutch eBay). And of course there was a collector who was more than happy to come and collect them! :-)

When we came home fro the traffard centre today (well its yesterday now) we found a red card on the floor saying that my package (EPP!!!! CELSIY!!) was was delivered but no-one was there so teroyal mail could not derliver it. So, we went to the royal mail to pick up my package and it was closed :'( BUT, that means I'l haveher tomorrow!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!
An old Longleaf Pine, Pinus palustris, that was "boxed" (tapped for turpentine) decades ago at Weymouth Woods. The tree is not that big around, but it must be quite old, as turpentine harvesting ended long ago. The preserve dates from 1963, but I believe harvesting was ended much earlier. I did not notice this when I took the photo, but it looks like there is still a piece of metal stuck into the trunk--perhaps a remnant of the box? I'll have to ask the ranger.

This side table and shelf is made from reclaimed farm steel and reclaimed wood. It is handmade in Pennsylvania by Ben Gatski. Each piece of steel was hand cut and welded together. The base of the shelf is a wooden plank rescued from an old barn.

The box inserts. Very good with a few minor creases. The tabs can be folded back so they'll stand upright. The art isn't like the cartoon, but still fun nonetheless.

Something fun and unique! Personally designed delicate cube box that is woven with thinly cut scrap wood. It it used as an accent in my wife's massage therapy room.
