Our neighbor, Chris McCormick, is fabricating a wonderful railing designed by Steve Joyner.....I couldn't resist the wonderful play of light and shadow.

João e seu mais novo brinquedo...Pelo menos assim, a gente consegue uma meia hora de sossego pra fazer algumas coisas! :-)

Hanseatic Water Skiing 2019

Not technically in our house I know... but we do spend a fair amount of time sleeping in the Kombi. When we are looking for a car park we make Jebus bounce for good luck.

Who said that eggs are used for eating only?…

For a change… Can we do an experiment with an egg?

Kids were astonished to see an egg bouncing, during their Science Surfers class.

They did it…

They demonstrated their scientific abilities, by making bubbles out of vinegar and soda for science experiment. This made them surprised and excited, to find out that they could carry out experiments by themselves.

Creativity has no ends. The Cool Architects designed their own buildings, and had it made out of different colors.

We further sorted shapes, learnt phonic "N" vocabulary and pencil control on numbers.

We had such fun.

Learning was awesome, as kids revised phonic ‘P’ by making popcorn craft.

Kids exploited their numeracy skills by matching numbers on popsicles to the numbers on the flash cards and ended up with a game of shape matching.

My contribution to the "Motion" challenge.

Single Shot.

No photoshop. Just color and sharpening in Lightroom.

Strobist Info: Single SB-26 fired from above the camera.

I love this flower, and the name makes me thing of my online friend Bette. Apparently its botanical name is Saponaria officinalis, and it's also known as soapwort--which must mean it's somehow useful either as a soap or in soapmaking.

ETA: Yes, an old botanical guide available online says that if you rub the leaves together, you will get enough soapiness to wash your hands! I'll have to try this.

After kebun raya, we went to SKI park in Tajur. Its a place where the dads could sit back, the moms could go shopping, and the kids can play till they drop.

This is the first animation I had ever done. I learnt it through the 12 principles of animation video by Alan Becker. I am quite happy with the outcome as the squashing and stretching makes it look more lifelike and overall satisfying to watch. This animation works best as a loop.

These are the Doc Martens I've had since high school. How fashions loop around...

Just a test shot, shot in the studio with a single flash soft box, shot at f5.6 with a shutter of 2000, this is going to be re-shot in a few days. What do you guys think? Please feel free to leave as much feedback as you like! Shot on Nikon D50.
