Designed (and folded) back in November/December 2013. I was looking for the simplest possible unit for achieving these structures. What I had in mind at the beginning was a particular (edge-) coloring of these solids (icosidodecahedron and rhombicosidodecahedron). They turned out to be non-rigid at all, but instead it's very funny playing by "bouncing" them on your hand...
They use 120 and 60 units each, made from 3*2 rectangles. Actually, the units are so simple that you can fold them without watching what you're doing (perhaps, watching a film with the lights off...)
Visiting Peter, Selma and Danny at the house they were staying in in the Richmond area. Danny loved the trompoline in the back garden.
James, this is the fun you missed out by turning down Danny's invitation to come and play with him :-)
A couple of gangers check the trackwork as more than a 1000 tonnes of china clay train rumbles over the pointwork at Sutton Bridge Junction, Shrewsbury, Saturday 21.1.12
I had to take a shot when I saw this screen saver ... and to crop it later to minimize the impact of the flash ;)
From morning until night festivities in the town square of Ollantaytambo progressed. Many different groups presented their own entertaining dance and costumes. There appeared to be judges watching the events so one would presume that there was a competiton in the perfomance.

Made in TomTom & Nana
Who said that eggs are used for eating only?…
For a change… Can we do an experiment with an egg?
Kids were astonished to see an egg bouncing, during their Science Surfers class.
They did it…
They demonstrated their scientific abilities, by making bubbles out of vinegar and soda for science experiment. This made them surprised and excited, to find out that they could carry out experiments by themselves.
Creativity has no ends. The Cool Architects designed their own buildings, and had it made out of different colors.
We further sorted shapes, learnt phonic "N" vocabulary and pencil control on numbers.
We had such fun.
Learning was awesome, as kids revised phonic ‘P’ by making popcorn craft.
Kids exploited their numeracy skills by matching numbers on popsicles to the numbers on the flash cards and ended up with a game of shape matching.
