If you look carefully, you'll see several raindrops a micro-second after they bounced off the water.
Anyone feeling inspired by the Toronto Raptors’ magical run to the NBA Finals can soon head down to East Village to shoot some hoops at 'The Bounce.'
Work is completed creating an urban basketball court on the corner of 4th Street and 8th Avenue Southeast, beside the National Music Centre at Studio Bell.
On top of the full basketball court, the site will also include ping-pong tables, Snakes-And-Ladders, four square and art murals.
The vacant lot was used in the past as an interim parking lot and at times was turned into a retail park with shipping containers for local businesses.
The project cost around $40,000 and was first thought up when the new Central Library was being built as a way to bring more people in from the popular RiverWalk,

Bounced the flash off a reflector I was holding in one hand off to the left and then took this capture holding the camera single handed ... could have used an assistant ;)
This was my first attempt at getting liquid to bounce/jump as a result of a sound.
The sound comes from a speaker covered with a piece of a stretched balloon. I do not have a sound trigger so the shots were taken manually (and flash fired by radio transmitter). I used a CD of F1 engine sounds (the wheel gun works best). The set up shot shows the layout. Canon 50D with EFS 60mm macro at f11. Canon 580 at 1/16th through home made grid and Yongnuo 460 at 1/8th through snoot. The black cards were to stop light spilling onto the background.
Because the sound is not one single note (despite how hard I tried to get a brief segment of sound) the liquid (coloured milk) goes everywhere and focus is a nightmare and not great on these pics.
The set up is on my work bench which means making a mess was not too much of a problem but it was getting cold as there is no heating out there.
I will think this over and have another go at some point.
So I bought a flash off ebay. With adjustable head so I could try a ceiling bounce.
Its not going as I expected. Flash is confusing the hell out of me.
This was severely levelled up in PSP. Although, to be fair I did take it with the lights off.
