The daimon motivates. It protects. It invents and persists with stubborn fidelity. It resists compromising reasonableness and often forces deviance and oddity upon its keeper, especially when neglected or opposed. It offers comfort and can pull you into its shell, but it cannot abide innocence. It can make the body ill. It is out of step with time, finding all sorts of faults, gaps, and knots in the flow of life - and it prefers them. It has affinities with myth, since it is itself a mythical being and thinks in mythical patterns.
Once I finished taking my previous shot, I actually walked down a private road toward the foot trail entrance near Arroyo Valle. I looked back and saw a sign saying "private property". Then I realized I had been trespassing. As I made my way back to the "public land", I saw a branch of the road that led to another house. I was not sure if it 's abandoned. I could have trespassed a bit more and took a closer look. However, there was a little voice in my head telling me "don't do that!". Down with that thought, I quickly took a shot of this tree tunnel with a fresh roll of Kodak Pro image. I was quite content with the colors this has come out. It almost looked just as good as Portra. Yet it 's substantially cheaper. I think I would shoot this with film stock a bit more. The whole effort has been quite satisfying as well since I was using my first SLR passed own from my dad back in the mid 80s. I remember he bought it in the late 70s at the time when Nikon was the king of SLR. The AE-1 was a game changer for Canon in the consumer space as it was packed with good features while being affordable. Its shutter sound is probably the sweetest I have ever heard among all the cameras I have used till this day.

Turning around a millstone donkey did 100 miles. When they broke up the rope the donkey discovered that he was in the same place. Some men walk a lot but never get anywhere. When evening comes for them, they have not seen neither city nor village, nor nature, nor create, nor angel.

Borderline Personality Disorder describes a prolonged disturbance of personality characterized by depth and variability of moods. The disorder typically involves unusual levels of instability in mood; "black and white" thinking, or "splitting"; chaotic and unstable interpersonal relationships, self-image, identity, and behavior; as well as a disturbance in the individual's sense of self.

Sooner or later something seems to call us onto a particular path. You may remember this “something” as a signal moment in childhood when an urge out of nowhere, a fascination, a peculiar turn of events struck like an annunciation: This is what I must do, this is what I’ve got to have. This is who I am.
