I love photographing local shows, and I love it when I get to photograph bands whose members I know and am friends with, so I was super happy to be able to shoot this show featuring Church Booty, Emily Otnes and The Weekdays, and The Fights for Rumored Nights Press! Mike N Molly's is a local venue that I had never been to before this show, so I loved getting to shoot in a new environment as well, and the crowd energy for this show was awesome too! =)

Cabled booties from Vintage Knits for Modern Babies

In addition to the quilt, I also made these darling little booties with the Saartje's booties pattern. This was definitely my kind of pattern (way cuter and way less time consuming than Jon's sweater!). I used Paton's Grace, mercerized cotton yarn and size 3 needles.
Pattern: Christine's Stay on Baby Booties
Yarn: Recycled Sweater wool for bootie, Cascade 220 for ties
Needles: US 4 dpns
Notes: I have made A LOT of these booties (this is just a taste) for expectant friends. A good friend told me that they're so excellent because they do as advertised and stay on! So I figured I'd make some for my little one (soon to arrive)!
