This pair of shoes is actually an ornament that was released in the 1990's by Hallmark(Baby's First Christmas Booties Keepsake). I have one for each of my boys' 1st Christmas and their names and birthdate are written on the bottom of each. The are porcelain and very delicate. I stopped hanging them on the tree in fear they might get broken like many of my ornaments do.
