Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Monday is bookmark.
As you might know by now, I have a collection (yes, another one) of prayers books and old bibles. Since those kind of books were mass produced they have almost no monetary value. But I love the craftsmanship that went in those books and also all the history behind them. I like to think about people who used those books and what or who were they praying for… I’m not a religious person and as a matter of fact I have books from all kinds of religions in my collection. The book you see in my picture is a pocket version of a french prayers book from the 1960. It is 3,5 cm thick. And most importantly it has this awesome multicolored bookmark…
See you later my friends ! I have a coffee to grab before my video meeting. I wish you all an amazing day !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
Muchas, muchas gracias por sus visitas, favs y comentarios :)

Otra vez en rojo.
Again in red.
NOTE: I think is a way to create something with paper (toilet paper) to make a bookmark or the same folded paper serving as such. I know I’m at risk of not being accepted but is not with bad intention HMM :)

Hello Everyone,
This week's challenge for Macro Mondays was "Bookmark." My dear grandma was instrumental in helping me learn to read. She gave me this bookmark when I was six or seven years old and it's one of my most beloved treasures.
It measures right at 3" which is the maximum allowed.
Thanks a million for looking and for leaving a comment. I do love hearing from you! Have a lovely day and week ahead!

We’d driven under and over it. I bought this bookmark to remember the sunny day we decided to walk across this lovely bridge.

A small handmade bookmark trinket made by my best friend for me.

Happy MM!
Reading is a great "get away" in these pandemic times. The bookmark is a great way to keep track of your journey. HMM!
It is a "magic wand" made by my young daughter, for her Harry Potter´s books, that I use too as a bookmark.

When we nowadays hear or read the word bookmark, we usually think of it in relation with an Browser on our computers and mobilephones for our visit in the world wide web. But there used to be a time when this word was standing for use only for books. And this is how our tiny little helpers still use it in their little world. A nice Dragon brass bookmark is a great place for my tiny friend to sit down, relax and read for a little while. :)
Vielen Dank für Eure Besuche, Kommentare und Sternchen!

Un simple ruban attaché ou non à la structure du livre peut servir de marque-livre et c'est tout aussi bien comme ça. #Macro #MacroMondays #Bookmark
