As I mentioned previously, the home laptop died. I don't know if it can be resurrected so I'm using my work laptop instead. I'm missing all my flickr firefox scripts, shortcuts etc. This photo will just have to keep you company until it's fixed!!!
Hugs to all. XX

Undertaken with GlobalNomad.
A cardinal red speciality tulip variety opened fully - to me, they look as they've 'gone past it' (I know the feeling.....) as they don't stay in closed-up mode for very long. But the colour and shape is certainly quite different.
The background bokeh is provided by the early flowering bluebells - regrettably the Spanish invaders, not the English variety.
Wedding is always the most important part in all culture. In Bangladesh wedding is also a huge arrangement. It is all about colour, food and family gatherings. Not many years ago people used to invite the whole town to celebrate the wedding for seven days. Now-a-days it has changed. Now wedding is a four days ceremony without including the engagement. Normally engagement is the first step before Bangladeshi start preparing for wedding ceremony. Once the engagement part is over then by discussing with both bride and groom side the four days wedding ceremony is arranged.

Over the Labor Day weekend our Cub Scout Pack went for the annual camping trip. While we were there, some of the girls found this butterfly. It was begging me to get this shot of it.
