A Brown rock chat (Cercomela fusca) was framed with a delightful backdrop glued with it. I managed to have it from such an angle after some trial from a distance!! Pics was taken from Dehradoon, Uttarakhand, India.

Bokehlicious!!

Kitchen foil as a background, tablet as base, and some fun with torch. I wish you a nice day:)

It's been a busy day, but I just have to show you this one from yesterday before I go to bed for a new busy but fun day.

I love the bokeh I got here, in the evening light.

This is the Nootka lupine (Lupinus nootkatensis). It is originally a North American species, and the name originates from the Nootka Sound in Canada.

It was imported to Norway in the end of the 19th century, when it was used to bind the slopes along the newly constructed Jærbanen railway between Egersund (where I live now) and Stavanger.

Now it has spread throughout our long country. Since 2016, it is forbidden to plant lupins in Norway.

They make the soil more nutrient-rich, which means that some of the original species can no longer survive. They also grow densely and crowd out other species. Many pollinators are unable to utilize the sand lupine as a food source, which causes a reduction in the number of pollinators.

(Sandlupin / alaskalupin in Norwegian)
