Week 10
From regular to unexpected. This week started out pretty normal. A couple days out with the bros here and there with work taking up my days. It was overall pretty relaxed and things were going well. I did have a lot on my mind due to being in a very story driven mindset which happens when I am writing a screenplay. When Friday hit though, I was not expecting my week to take that kind of turn. Someone very close to me has made a decision about our relationship and while I support their decision, it has started to hit me these passed couple days since. Its almost like a small emptiness inside where they once were. Now that person and I are still on good terms which I am very grateful for, its just a change that needs to be made. I know that everything will be ok. Its just going to take some getting used to.
I can't wait to see what the next week will bring!
Just another random photo of my cat - this time with bonus gratuitous bokeh courtesy of the fantastic wee Nikon 35mm F1.8 :-)

Sometimes I wonder why I bother shooting film, but there are just some shots I can't get with my p&s that I can with my SLR.
Well, 55-250mm is not really a macro lens and this is not really a macro shot and i am not someone who does macro photography.....but here is an attempt, hope you like it :)

This was an incredibly hard shot to capture. Zara didnt want anything to do with the camera and was facing away from me the entire time. A loud noise came from across the street and she looked for a split second. I got one frame before she turned and ran away.
I finally got a taste of the swirly bokeh this lens, the Helios 44-2, is known for.
