Bokehful bubbles today. I barely had a single ounce of rest today between homework and editing photos from yesterday, but I had lunch outside in the nice weather with the family today, and just got some shots of my brother blowing bubbles around. I need rest -___- but I know that's not going to happen anytime soon haha. Professors love piling on work at the end of the semester. Shot at 50mm f/1.8

after more than a year of shooting exclusively with the excellent zeiss planar 50/2, i'm very excited to add a second m-mount lens to my collection! sadly, the first roll of film i shot with my brand new 35/1.2 suffered from a fatal flaw, either on my part or the lab's, and i am still mourning the roll a little... it included shots of andy's very special birthday lunch at Bouchon, a fun afternoon gallivanting around LA with friends, and what i was hoping would be some bokehful shots taken at sunrise and in a dimly lit bar. i was so discouraged about the loss that i didn't feel motivated to shoot much in the last week, but i pulled it together and finished this roll today. i'm looking forward to seeing the world via a new-to-me focal length :)
This week the sunflowers I'd planted early in the year decided it was time to flower (well one of them anyway - with two heads XD)
