I'm grateful for bokeh. Or this could go another way. Hello! I'm Holly and I'm a bokeh addict. Or maybe insert "Flickr" instead of "Bokeh" and you would hit a little closer to the mark. There is just something so satisfying about the way bokeh can transform a shot for me into something beautiful. Something extraordinary. Something that will always generate a second glance. Photographing it has transformed the way I view nature in a monumental way. But also, the quest for bokeh takes me in and out of shooting styles that I would never try. It makes me grow as a photographer. So I hope you enjoy my efforts, and I hope it inspires you as much as it does me. Happy Bokeh Wednesday everyone! I'm very grateful for you too!

to distract you from the overuse of my polaroid camera in 365's lately... i was tagged!

1. my name's obviously not really thelastdisco, it's abby. =D
2. i have an unshakable desire for a film camera, i just don't know which.
3. i've moved out of state a lot in the past.
4. i'm a bit of a bokeh addict.
5. i have a wall of photographs in my room.
6. at this moment i have 2,402 songs on my ipod.
7. when i was nine i decided to host a mini garage sale and unknowingly sold my mom's ancient pentax film camera. it's one of my greatest regrets. =P
8. i want to go to college for writing or photography. maybe both.
9. sometimes i hate the 365 project and sometimes i love it. depends on the day.
10. i need new props/concepts for my pictures. =]

When I don't have an idea of what to shoot, I turn to my macro lens! And I am a bokeh addict, that is what drew me to photography in the first place.
This is a succulent plant, so it will store water. It can survive with small amounts of water spaced far apart.
The center of attention in this picture is a leaf. It has formed a drop of water (same as dew) on it. Greenhouse humidity is very high most times. And most plants thrive in greenhouse care. That's about all I know about this little fellow.
