This is an unfinished suspension bridge that stayed unfinished for two years. The university hired some stupid engineers
"Down with Euclid - Death to Triangles!" or "Does Set Theory Make You Sick?" Two pointed statements, the first from Jean Dieudonné (1959), the second from Der Spiegel (1974), whose backgrounds were intensively discussed in the sixties and seventies. They are based on reform pedagogical approaches to mathematics teaching and are referred to as "new mathematics". However, these reform efforts were abolished again in the mid/end of the seventies after very controversial discussions.

The classic structure consists of the foundation, the shaft and the capital. The photos were taken at the semicircular colonnades that connect the two communs at the western end of Sanssouci Park. The historical model is said to have been the colonnades on St. Peter's Square in Rome.

Building in downtown Providence. Some call it the "Superman Building" due to it's resemblance to the Daily Planet building in the comic books.
So here is my second visit in Bruges, again I had a wonderful time. I made some great shots of this stunning city. The atmosphere is so pleasant, although it is very touristic, I tried to avoid this mass of people walking around. I went more to the outer sides of it. Enjoy the pics.
The Queen Victoria Building known as the QVB, was designed by George McRae and completed in 1898. Glorious stained glass windows and splendid architecture endure throughout the building and an original 19th century staircase sits alongside the dome.
