"Motion Blur" has been quite a challenge. I took some rather weird photos, learning a lot about shutter speed and the physique of water droplets in the process. OK, so this then is my best shot.
Have a very Happy Macro Monday and a fantastic week, everyone!
I took like a 1000 pictures at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, but mostly because I was so disappointed I didn't notice the very low lying cloud cover which meant I couldn't get my sunset photo I had hoped for under the pier. But kept shooting the Ferris Wheel and hoping to get some good shots that weren't blurred too much by the creeping waves. This was one of my favorite shots of the Ferris Wheel and a decent reflection too. I tried again the next day but the clouds were worse. Guess I gotta go back to LA to try again soon...
So after a success set of strobing with my friend milo another skater friend of mine volunteered. He in fact hadn't skated in 5 years and he took to it again like a fish to water. Steve Taylor 5-0 stall on mini quarter.

Added to the Group "What iz it" for guessing what was the subject of this photo
Took this a while ago outside Etihad Stadium, Melbourne. I had taken a few shots of the sunset and was wondering what to do in the fading light. I had the idea to get the City Circle tram blurred but as I waited for it to pass by this red and yellow double decker tourist bus went past. It probably needed a slightly slower shutter speed to give a bit more blur.
The week has run away with me and I've got no opportunity left for panning, so I've cheated a bit and this is only motion blur.

My objective was faulty
So the blur effect is unintentional.
But seeing the photo afterwards I thought I liked it.
So I kept it.
