Tree partially blocks Granite Mountain. Shot with iPhone from American Ranch, Prescott, Arizona, 2019.
Self unloader Joseph L. block owned by Cleveland Cliffs is well into unloading ore at Cleveland's Bulk Terminal on November 2, 2024. It was built in 1975 and has kept that name for it's whole career. It's somewhat rare for a laker to dock at CBT headed west. They more often back in. The newest addition to Cleveland's skyline is the Sherwin Williams headquarters just to the left of the Terminal Tower. Cleveland's House of Pain now known as Huntington Bank Field sits on the far left. This could become a historic photo if the Brown's owners make good on their plan to move off of the lakefront into the suburbs.

What's a pirate to do when a whale blocks his way? I'll let you figure that out - I just take the picture.

Light from a construction crane across the street to the right cast a beautiful light onto this wonderful old building in Portland, OR Can you guess where in PDX this is? As announced I present you something different from the usual Fantasy Castle themed MOCs I’ve build past 2years.
It’s my very first try building sort of Modular Houses and my biggest MOC to date. Around 6000 pieces went into this.
The MOC consists of 4 major modules, the houses itself don’t have an interior. it isn’t even possible in the first house (Dark Bley/Olive Green) due to space taken for constructing the windows and door.
I’m planning to create a fully Modular building with interior later on this year tho.
Haumoana Beach, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
Up early to catch the sunrise on Saturday, but the weather wasn't playing kind, so settled in to shoot a few long exposures of the waves against the breakwater at Haumoana.
Managed to surprise a sleeping seal when I arrived, and then a while later a pod of dolphins cruised along the shore chasing some breakfast. So all in all not a bad morning to be up early.

(Jones Brewing Series, Photo 10)
Backlit window on the second floor of the abandoned Jones Brewery. The Youghiogheny River is seen through the square.
RSAF General Dynamics F-16D Block 52, Luke AFB. An unplanned stop by Luke yesterday yielded very few usable shots but I'll post a couple that were at least half decent. Sun was shining almost straight down the runway so not ideal.
New apartment block within the regenerated Chatham docks.
This was my last outing with my old, faithful Canon 400D (now upgraded to a Canon 7D). It is a bit too bashed about to sell, so I may keep it for riskier photo shoots :)
Processing n HDR Efex Pro (tone mapping, contrast and saturation adjustment) with some mucking about in photoshop (but not too much!) and Define 2.
