someone else took this pic of me in like 2003 when I was playing out at remote lounge. my kingdom for a wj-mx30 once again, yes.
Owl blinking. There is a racoon climbing nearby that got this owl's attention. It looks like it is looking at the camera, but that is misleading.

Mugsey, one of four dogs my nephew Conor has.
My flash has a P-TTL connection to my camera, which enables it to work with the camera to get the correct exposure. Part of that process has the flash sending out pre-flashes to guage the amount of light needed. This sometimes results in what you see here. Blinking.
Mugsey was particularly sensitive to the flash.
Sorry about that Mugsey.
I had a light difusion dome on my flash, pointed up at the ceiling, but that didn't make any difference to poor Mugsey.
Cute dog, but boy is that a bunch of hair.

Isn't she beautiful? She has filled out nicely and has such a gorgeous shiny coat. She's still shy and gets attacked by the other cats (except Samson), so I keep her separate. But she enjoys being petted now and doesn't bite any more!!
A literal take on the first PComp assignment, making an LED blink. I cut out two eye shapes from black and translucent acrylic. The eyes have two settings, open and closed. The eyes close when a switch is thrown, they also close when the light is too bring.

Thought this was a cracker until I opened the image on my pc and saw the owl was mid-blink. Hey ho...
