Apologies to all my contacts for my flickr absence. My days and nights have been filled with dogs and children. I am hoping to catch up looking at everyone's photostreams this weekend.

This is Billy who is missing his girl, my daughter. She will be home in a month. Meanwhile, he sleeps outside her bedroom door. Although he is blind, he does very well and loves playing fetch.

The water levels were low enough last weekend to get to bits of Pucks Glen I've wanted to explore for a while. This location is the top of the lower part of Pucks Glen, acessed via a climb down a steep bank and a trek through the water round a couple of blind corners.

Some comments refer to the motion blur in this picture, but I believe it's not motion since this was taken at a reasonably high speed to get a depth of field as shallow as possible. The micro Nikkor 60mm f2.8 it's a reasonably bright (and extremely sharp) lens.

I take this photo yesterday.

You can see about 1.5 metres in front of you, and the fog changes colour as you go through. It's made from water-soluble fog fluid containing non-toxic polyols, so an interesting experience that is quite safe.
