These 2 humongous blimp hangars have always attracted and scared me at the same time...I have some sort of phobic fear of large empty things (pools, warehouses, etc.) and get chills just imagining peeking inside. It's a phobia I can live with because I'm not usually required to do these things in my day to day life, and if I come upon one of these spine tinglers, I'm actually able to deal with it...seems to be more the idea of peeking inside that unnerves me. Oh well. Anyhow, these are near my stepmother's home in Orange County and I visited her this past weekend and couldn't resist a snap or two. These hangars are dwarfing the one-story buildings near them. Really big!!!
