My first mesh for the Mesh open Beta in Second Life. A floating landscape generated with blenders metasurfaces and displacement maps. The bonfires do not belong to the mesh.
36446 Triangles, taking up 253 prims inworld, 8 submeshes with a custom baked texture for each.
I was not aware of the new 64 meters size constraint when i created this one, it was planned to take up the space of a quarter of a simulator, but the next version will be split into several meshes to achieve this
I'm really loving this camera for its ability to take 360 HDR shots without having to worry about stitching. I purchased this to use with my Blender3d modeling projects for environmental lights.

This is straight from Andrew Price's Blenderguru tutorial though I didn't do the ice cubes. I wouldn't normally upload a straight copy of a tutorial but this was rendered with Cycles on an ASUS eeePC 901 netbook using the CPU as GPU rendering is not available with onboard Intel graphics. Baking the fluid took several hours and rendering was another couple of hours overnight so it was slow but it is possible. Looks like I forgot to set the water to smooth shading but I'm not redoing it now.

I started out just trying to create a plant-like object. I have seen a number of flowers that form spheres and thought I would try that. Once created, I wanted more color than I had in the original render, so I started playing with colors in photoshop. From there, I found I liked a number of combinations, so I decided to publish a set of the same image with different colors.
Can be displayed individually or in a combination with 1 or more of the others in this set.
